Tri Delta

Beta Pi at University of California, Davis

Sisterhood

Bid day marks the official beginning of a second home for over 40 young women each year, but the true beginning starts as soon as you walk through the doors of our chapter during recruitment. As soon as you arrive you can feel the strong sense of love and support that our sisters share, and it was this same feeling that made me choose Tri Delta in the Fall of 2018. Tri Delta has been a constant source of support for me throughout my college career, as well as helped me develop incredible leadership skills, make lifelong friends, and challenge me in every aspect of my life. As a chapter we’ve spent sisterhood events whitewater rafting on the American River, hiking at Lake Berryessa, taking Zumba classes at the ARC, cheering on our sisters at Powderpuff games, and doing community service with other Greek chapters. One thing that I especially love about Tri Delta is our commitment to each other as well as our commitment to the greater Greek and Panhellenic community.

I love that I am a member of this chapter and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities that Tri Delta has given me. As a chapter, we hold ourselves to a high standard in both academics and our other pursuits, but most importantly, we challenge and support each other to become the best version of ourselves. Every woman in this chapter is unique and passionate and driven, qualities that we hold close to our hearts. Without Tri Delta I know that my experience at UC Davis would not have been as rewarding or meaningful, and I feel so lucky to not just be surrounded by such inspiring and wonderful women, but to call them my sisters. I am so excited to meet the incoming 2020 pledge class and cannot wait to see all that you bring to our chapter!

Loyally,

Rachel Layton
